Urban Practice Unveils New Corporate Branding

Camden, NJ – January 06, 2026 – Urban Practice, a Camden, NJ–based architecture, interiors design, FF&E procurement, and urban design firm, has unveiled a refreshed brand that reflects the firm’s continued growth and its evolution into a fully integrated design partner for multifamily housing communities.

Founded in 2019, Urban Practice quickly established itself as a leader in equitable, mission-driven design for affordable housing communities. As the firm has grown, its portfolio has expanded beyond its affordable housing roots to support a broader range of clients and to deliver thoughtful, functional, and durable design across new markets including, student, senior, attainable, market-rate and military housing.

In alignment with this growth, UP has expanded its services from architecture to include planning and interior design, with more growth on the horizon with the addition of FF&E procurement services starting in 2026. Their goal is to support projects from early feasibility, planning and design through construction and occupancy.

“Since our founding, Urban Practice has set out to design with impact and create places that genuinely work for people,” said James Haley, Principal. “We are proud that our many development partners trust us to deliver more than just beautiful renderings–they can count on us to deliver places where people want to live and where they can thrive,” Haley said.

The refreshed brand includes updated messaging, visual elements, and a redesigned website that better reflects the firm’s community-growth philosophy and collaborative culture. Core values that have long defined the firm’s work now formally represent the brand: Collaboration, staying Rooted, Expertise, Authenticity, Trust, and Equity.

As part of the refresh, Urban Practice has also introduced a new vision and mission statement that reflects the firm’s expanded scope and long-term goals:

Vision: Urban Practice exists to be the partner of choice for anyone looking to grow and shape a community. Our vision is to lead bold, purpose-driven projects that go beyond buildings, helping cities, developers, and mission-driven teams create places where people can truly thrive.

Mission: We provide architecture, interior design, and planning services designed to create intentional, functional, and comfortable living and community spaces.

The updated visual identity builds on this foundation, including a new logo mark that reflects the meaning behind the Urban Practice name.

“Throughout the brand refresh, it was important to us to keep the name Urban Practice because of what it represents,” said Bryon Yoder, Principal. “Our name has always reflected our belief in the sustainability of a dense urban fabric and the value of experts collaborating in practice. The new logo brings this idea to life by merging together the letters U and P into an ampersand that represents connection and collaboration.”

The new brand identity is reflected on urbanpractice.com and across Urban Practice’s social media channels– LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

Urban Practice partnered with Third & Arch, a leading branding agency providing strategy, web design, and marketing for established AEC firms, to create the new brand identity.
