Kimberly King Joins Urban Practice as Direcor of Business Development
Camden, NJ – April 08, 2026 – Urban Practice, an architecture and design firm focused on housing and community-driven development, is pleased to announce that Kimberly King has joined the firm as Director of Business Development.
In this role, Kimberly will focus on building strategic relationships with developers and industry partners, helping to position Urban Practice early in the development process and aligning design with broader project goals. She will play a key role in expanding the firm’s presence across housing and community-focused initiatives.

Kimberly brings nearly two decades of experience working at the intersection of design, construction, and client strategy. Her background spans design, project delivery, and growth-focused roles, giving her a unique perspective on how projects are conceived, executed, and scaled. She is known for connecting people, ideas, and opportunities to move projects forward and create long-term value for clients and partners. She is particularly interested in supporting projects that strengthen communities and expand access to thoughtful, well-designed housing.
Prior to joining Urban Practice, Kimberly played a key role at a design-aligned consulting and procurement firm, where she helped drive growth by expanding client relationships, strengthening vendor partnerships, and supporting team development across national projects.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from Philadelphia University.
