Roger’s professional career includes over 44 years of experience as an Architect, Construction Manager, and Real Estate Developer. The latter two endeavors were as owner and VP of Urban Corp, a Pennsylvania Real Estate Development venture in the 1980s. Roger also served as Principal Architect at the long-standing architectural firm Kitchen & Associates, where he spent nearly 30 years and spearheaded the Student Housing division with projects located across the United States. He has project experience in Healthcare, Education, Retail, Community Centers, Interior Design, and Affordable & Workforce Housing. Roger retired in 2021, and rejoined the architectural workforce at Urban Practice in 2024. He is a licensed architect and holds an architectural degree from Penn State (B.S. Arch & B.Arch).

Roger is an avid movie buff and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). SAG merged with the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists to form SAG-AFTRA in 2012. He was a film extra in Blowout (1981), Witness (1985), Mannequin (1987), and The Age of Innocence (1993).
